1. Introduction

In this section you can find activities and ideas for recommended TED topics/videos.  

TED talks are a great way to expose students to spoken English and improve their listening comprehension skills. TED websites provide many videos about different topics. You can find some activities on their website or here. You can also make up your own activities, for example: ask the students to answer questions about the video while and after they are watching it.

TED-Ed website - the platform includes lessons and activities made especially for school teachers and students.

Note: Make sure the level and content of each video (and the follow-up activity) are appropriate for your students and fit to their level. Some videos also include subtitles in English which can help your students' comprehension. Please avoid using Hebrew subtitles. 

2. TED For You: Every kid needs a champion

Here is great video about the significance of good relationship with students and the impact an educator can have on a student's life. This video is for you, and you can also show it to your students and have a meaningful discussion about the role of educator/education.
