Sig'd (Hebrew: סִיגְד) is a holiday of the Ethiopian Jewish community. It is celebrated on the 29th of the Hebrew month of Heshvan. Since 2008, the Sig'd is celebrated as a national holiday in Israel. The following links provide extensive information about the holiday and its traditions.
